The AI Red Teaming Agent (preview)

What it is
Microsoft’s AI Red Teaming Agent automates adversarial probing of generative AI to help teams spot, measure, and manage safety risks early. It blends Microsoft’s open-source PyRIT strategies with Azure AI Foundry’s Risk & Safety Evaluators to deliver automated scans, attack scoring, and reports — moving from reactive fixes to proactive risk management.

Why it matters
Traditional red teaming checks for security flaws. Generative AI brings new risks like jailbreaks, harmful content, hallucinations, and data leaks. Manual testing is slow; the Agent scales this work with automation and continuous monitoring.

Core capabilities

  1. Scans – runs seed prompts and PyRIT strategies to simulate attacks.

  2. Scoring – calculates metrics like Attack Success Rate (ASR) = successful attacks ÷ total attacks.

  3. Reporting – creates scorecards, logs results in Azure AI Foundry, and tracks trends over time.

Automation only goes so far — complement with human review. No single metric captures all risks.

Business Central Application Compliance

The challenge
Companies face rising accounting demands, often needing to meet multiple standards:

  • SOX (U.S.) – investor protection & disclosure accuracy.

  • IAS/IFRS (EU/global) – recognition, measurement, consolidation, reporting.

  • Basel II – financial institution risk and stability.

How Business Central helps

  • Real-time financial visibility – cash flow, revenue, assets, KPIs.

  • Built-in safeguards – role-based security, configurable controls, error prevention.

  • Audit-ready trails – drill-down logs, change history, reconciliation tools.

  • Flexible reporting – custom financial reports, Excel/Power BI integration.

  • Localized compliance – tailored versions for specific countries/regions.
