Dynamics 365 License Management
Starting August 30, 2025, all customers using Finance & Operations apps in Dynamics 365 will be required to assign user licenses directly via the Microsoft 365 admin center.
Affected App:
Finance / Finance Premium
Supply Chain Management / SCM Premium
Commerce
Project Operations (F&O)
Human Resources
After this date, unlicensed users will lose access to these apps and be prompted to request access from an admin.
Microsoft is consolidating license management under the M365 umbrella to:
Simplify the administrative experience
Provide a centralized governance model
Improve visibility across all Microsoft Cloud solutions
Prepare the foundation for future license automation and reporting enhancements
Microsoft Agent Flows
Agents and Agent Flows now work seamlessly together in Copilot Studio to unlock scalable, enterprise-grade business process transformation.
Agents + Flows: Better Together
Agents = autonomous AI entities that handle dynamic, context-aware decision-making
Agent Flows = deterministic, predefined workflows enhanced by AI actions
Together, they offer a powerful hybrid model: Agents can trigger Agent Flows when predictable, structured steps are required—delivering efficiency, consistency, and control across critical processes.
Copilot Studio’s integrated maker interface allows for:
Natural language authoring of flows (no code required)
Reusability across multiple agents
Quick iteration as business needs evolve
Microsoft Fabric SKUs
In a major step toward democratizing AI, Microsoft has announced that Copilot and AI features will soon be accessible to all Fabric customers on F2 and above, effective end of April 2025. This means no more SKU limitations—if you're using Fabric, you're getting AI. Period.
Copilot for Fabric – Generate Power BI visualizations, enhance data insights, and automate workflows using natural language
Fabric Data Agents – Chat with your data, get contextual insights, and accelerate decision-making across your data estate
AI-Powered Productivity – Reduce the time spent wrangling reports, models, and analysis with GenAI at your fingertips
This move reflects Microsoft’s commitment to lowering the barrier to AI adoption across every tier of the organization:
No extra licensing required
No capacity reconfiguration needed
No additional friction to enable GenAI at scale
